Overview
The Account Director shall provide strategic direction, oversee client relationships, and ensure the successful execution of high-impact public relations programs that strengthen reputation, foster trust, and advance the business objectives of our diverse client portfolio
Responsibilities
1. Define and lead comprehensive PR and communications strategies tailored to client needs and aligned with business goals.
2. Drive innovation and thought leadership in public affairs, stakeholder engagement, and reputation management.
3. Serve as the senior counsel and trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their interests are safeguarded and opportunities maximized.
4. Proactively identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and business development.
5. Represent WSP Inc. in high-level client meetings, industry events, and stakeholder engagements.
6. Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of client programs, ensuring they meet objectives, timelines, and budgets.
7. Guide teams in delivering integrated solutions across media relations, content, events, and digital channels.
8. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of PR professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
9. Manage staffing and resources across accounts to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
10. Monitor industry trends, policy shifts, and emerging opportunities to keep clients ahead of the curve.
11. Track campaign performance and provide strategic insights, data-driven analysis, and actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
· Minimum 8 years of experience in public relations, preferably within the public relations and communications industry.
· Proven track record of developing and executing successful integrated PR campaigns across multiple channels.
· Strong strategic thinking and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate client objectives into impactful PR strategies.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to liaise with senior-level stakeholders.
· Experience in leading and mentoring a team of PR professionals, fostering their growth and development.
· Thorough understanding of the Philippines' PR and communications landscape and industry best practices.
