BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Overview

The Business Development Manager shall be responsible for researching and developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and providing strategic directions to the organization. They will identify potential customers, develop relationships, and close deals. The Business Development Manager will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales.

Responsibilities

A. Business Development

1. Develop and implement a strategic plan focused both on revenue targets and customer satisfaction.
2. Identify and pursue new business prospects and broaden and increase the agency's customer base.
3. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs. Stay current on industry trends, competition, and new products/services.
4. Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and business partners. Establish connections with potential customers through cold calling, networking, and social media outreach.
5. Organize presentations and assist in the development of proposals for potential clients.
6. Develop and negotiate sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
7. Ensure and secure the company's and project's profitability for the sustainability and growth of the company.
8. Increase the agency's present client value while generating new opportunities.
9. Provide credible feedback and after-sales assistance.
10. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

B. Marketing and Promotion

1. Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote WSP’s products/services and generate leads.
2. Utilize and manage the company's social media accounts to enhance brand visibility and engage with the audience.
3. Collaborate with the internal teams to create engaging content (including posts, articles, and videos) to drive audience engagement and interaction.
4. Monitor social media trends to optimize content and engagement strategies.

Qualifications

· With a bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field.
· With at least 7 years of related working experience as an Account Manager, Business Development Manager, or similar role, with a strong understanding of PR and Communications landscapes.
· Must have excellent communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers.
· Proven ability to close deals and partnerships.
· Self-motivated and results-oriented.
